After creating the STICKITs, I wanted to develop larger stick pieces for outdoor venues. In 2021 I learned to weld and created steel armatures for the 7 foot tall Sojourn STICKITs. The qualities and characteristics of metal intrigued me. I experimented with a plasma cutter, shaping the steel with a hammer and anvil and welded new metal sculptures.
